Pink Theme wedding

Pink will never be out of fashion for weddings.Every time you think of a romantic wedding, the color pink will pop up…at least in some way for most brides.

When you pick your wedding color, consider the season and the location-this will save you a lot of trouble when you start choosing your bouquet, decorations and other accessories that will be included in the overall theme.

Pink is usually chosen during spring and summer weddings, but it is your wedding. If you love it, just go for it! If you do use pink during fall and winter, just combine it with fall colors-brown, copper and gold come to mind.

When using pink in spring and summer there are several lovely options; use a pastel contrasting base like pale green so that the pink really pops! Remember that the color base will match the seasons-in spring gardens are coming back to life, so green is a good base. In fall, leaves are changing to brown and copper, so then you can use those colors as a base.

When it comes to choosing the flowers for the bouquet and décor, there are many shades of pink that you can use with other color combinations. Roses are obvious. Some others would include stargazer lilies, peonies, and tulips. For your green base, try Kermit mums, hypericum berries, and small green apples. All will add a fresh sensation to the overall wedding theme.

Once you’ve chosen the main colors, you can just add small decorative accessories that bring out the colors even more. Use ribbons and chair sashes with different colors like ivory or fuchsia to complete the design and create a catchy sense, without being too “matchy”.

For the bridesmaids’ gowns, it can be very helpful to involve th e bridesmaids in the process from the start. This can reduce any fashion complications. For our chosen theme, you can look for dresses in several shades of pink to suit the different tastes and skin tones of your bridesmaids.

Tell us how everything is going with your pink wedding planning. We would love to hear more creative ideas for our pink theme.

Thanks everyone!
